There were two kids named – Manbhajan and Saisanth – studying in the 5th grade. Saisanth constantly made fun of Manbhajan, calling him ‘soplangi’, ‘kondai kaaraa’ etc. One fine day, Saisanth was beyond his limits and irritated Manbhajan to the core. Manbhajan, usually temperamental in nature, could no longer resist himself and gave Saisanth a hard-slap.
Not expecting this, Saisanth was shell-shocked and started crying. As this happened in the middle of the road, everyone gathered round the kids. One was cursing Manbhajan and the other was pitying Saisanth, as to how innocent he was! Their school head-mistress happened to pass by; she scorned at Manbhajan and wanted his parents to accompany him to the school, the very next day. Manbhajan did not know how to react, at this unexpected turn of events. His first thought though, was to pacify Saisanth, who was crying at the peak of his voice. He went close to Saisanth and offered to get him a candy and a ice-cream, only if he stopped crying. There was a smile at the corner of Saisanth’s face. Manbhajan too was happy and both went home in a joyous mood!
Only the next day, Manbhajan came to know that he was banned from school for 11 days, by his head-mistress!
